To think this is beneficial to ds?

Or am I being ridiculous?

I try to work so I can drop ds off at nursery at 9:15 and pick up at 4:30. We pay for 8 to 5:30. I feel like him going in later and being picked up earlier makes his day shorter and therefore less of a full on day. Is this silly and am I wasting my time trying to manage this?

Who would be able to pick him up at 17:30?
if your DP or someone else could do it, let them

@Sarahzb i meant really if it’s worth me cutting the day shorter for them where I can or am I making the effort for nothing do you think?

How difficult is it for you to do the later drop off and earlier pick up. If it's easy enough then I'd keep doing it...if you're running round in a flap, stop stressing and get him later

Personally the later start in morning not worth it, kids are normally up early - earlier finish maybe? But you don't want to be rushing about and also it takes stress of working and parenting if drop offs and pick ups are split between both parents
