To think we are being haunted

Firstly- I should start off saying I wouldn't consider myself spiritual or hold beliefs of a higher power.
But there have been some very odd things happen that have made me feel uneasy and even scared at times!
This has occurred since the birth of my daughter and also since the death of my partners grandfather.

The 1st weird thing was when my daughter was around 10 months old and a few weeks after grandfather passing. She had woken in the night and was really unsettled. As I was settling her, there was a huge crash in my bathroom- a baby bath that we had balanced on the sink had fallen down knocking the toilet roll holder down. It had been ballanced there for a whole day previously... no here's the odd thing- when my partner went to investigate they found I had left the gas stove on!... had the commotion not happened in the bathroom we wouldn't have discovered this. Weird coincidence?

Now the other weird thing is- the baby monitor has a rotating camera and shows the room temperature. A handful of times- the temperature drops from 20ish degrees by about 5 degrees. The camera then moves around on its own and then when it stops the temperature comes back up. Just a faulty camera? But the weird thing is- my daughter seems to wake up when this happens.
Most recently when I went up tonight, she was standing on her bed crying but instead of looking at me, she was looking straight over my shoulder as if she was looking at something else.
I'm totally freaked out!
I should say- we have moved house and this has happened in both houses.

AIBU to think we are being haunted? 👻

If you had ghost who was looking out for you, why wouldn't it have turned the hob off without any fuss instead of clattering about in the bathroom?

PS I thought this was going to be a Jacob Rees-Mogg thread. Sorry for bringing my lack of spiritualism.

We've had some weird stuff happen-since our cat died.

Then my dad died shortly after. More weird stuff happened.

Honestly, things being knocked off surfaces, weird stuff. I'd never been a spooky believer but I am now!

Well I’m going to vote that it’s a ghost.
If you think it’s your partners grandad ask him nicely to leave, tell him he’s scaring you.

These are the sort of things that you wouldn’t normally notice if a family member hadn’t died.Balanced stuff does fall down, babies and cats look at doors and ceilings.
My Grandma, usually a no nonsense woman now thinks that every robin who approaches her in the garden is my Grandad. How he would have laughed.

Yep, classic haunting but not in a bad way. We have similar.

My MIL died the same day as David Bowie. That first Christmas after her death on Christmas morning we were in the living room watching TV and the radio in the bedroom started playing David Bowie.

Every now and then our Alexa randomly played music but only by David Bowie. We put it down to the MIL 'talking' to us.

We moved house it happened a around a week after we had settled in. It happened a couple more times and then stopped.

Shortly my grandad died we went round to see my gran and the dog went straight to the dining room table chair where he always sat and was clearly engaged with something as she sat down, looking up at the chair and put her paw up.

Im still not a believer as such and think that once you're dead thats it but these things do make me wonder.
