To ask what your 4 year old do after school?

Just looking for ideas really as I feel we’re falling into a screen time habit!

His favourite things are play doh and kinetic sand, but they’re only keeping him entertained for 5 minutes - not great when I’m making dinner etc!

What else do your little ones like?

Lego

On an ideal day, it looks like this - Change clothes, snack & chat time, free play with toys, school reading homework etc, TV whilst making dinner, more boisterous play eg balloons, dance battle, tea, bath, story, bed.

On a typical day - argue about getting changed, argue who has the blue cup, fight over the TV .. you get the picture.

Mines 5 and likes to play in the garden if it's nice. If the weather is a bit miserable or he just wants to stay indoors he will do painting, jigsaws, builds stuff with his blocks or sits and reads
