I’ve been feeling unwell the last few days - but feverish and chills, also headache and body aches including my lower back.
Today I’m still feeling rubbish with similar symptoms but woke up with this itchy rash on various times parts of my body.
Can anyone help? I’m thinking of calling GP this morning but not sure whether I’m wasting their time. I don’t have any allergies that I know of. All I’ve been taking is ibuprofen and paracetamol.

Looks like hives! Antihistamines will help if that’s what it is

Whatisthis1989 · 12/06/2024 09:10

Will it be related to this illness that I’ve had?

Do you have any antihistamines you can try?

You can get post-viral urticaria (hives) which looks like this.

I’ve got Lotradine in the house - would that be any good? I don’t want to go out and spread whatever I’ve got around but they’re so itchy

Yes that's fine. I assumed it was a typo for loratadine. If it doesn't work, you might need to try something else.

You could also apply some hydrocortisone cream if it is still itchy.

Looks like hives. I got them for the first time last year when I had a sickness bug and now get them every time I'm under the weather!
