Worried I’ve got a kidney infection?

I’ve been feverish for two days. I assumed it was just a virus at first, but I woke up this morning with lower back pain.
I’ve taken ibuprofen and the pain isn’t as severe, but I have tummy and pelvic pain too.
I have chills, body aches on and off. Which go away with paracetamol/ibuprofen.

No other symptoms like a cough , so I’m assuming it’s not flu.

I’m thinking perhaps I need to call the GP? But left it a bit late today maybe.
I’m not regularly running to the toilet, but I do feel like it’s more difficult to empty my bladder completely. There’s no pain when I go.

I’m worried about a kidney infection.

I'd be more worried about appendicitis, especially with the back pain. Best to call 111 and see what they suggest

I had the same symptoms and phoned the gp. It was a kidney infection so I had antibiotics.

Where your pain is will give a good idea as to what you have, where abouts is it?

@Cumbrianlassie do phone 111 or if you think you can hold on, phone Dr first thing. It sounds like you need Anti biotics.

I had a bad kidney infection without any urinary issues just cramping and pain. 111 would be worth a call
