WIBU to not share my fish?

I'm not eating excessive carbs right now

I've not eaten a single thing all day and DH picked me up from the tram station and said he fancied chippy.
I wait in car as I feel tired and she says he just wants chips and curry.

It's not the best choice in the world but I ask him to order me a lightly fried fish.

I say to him "just get me a small one, unless you want to share then get a large or XL"

We get home, he has his large portion of chips and curry and he's gotten one small fish and asks for some.

I remind him that if he wanted to share he was supposed to get a big one and he says he wasn't really listening

I ate the fish.

Now I feel a bit mean

Only time I'm sharing fish is with the cat 🤣

You did exactly what you said you would. Not your fault he didn’t listen, stop feeling bad for his mistake
women are not meant to make men feel better when they don’t listen

but you are unreasonable going all day without food, that is plain daft on any kind of diet, so take lunch tomorrow and some snacks. Nuts work well for this

Nope. Not mean. He had a massive amount of food compared to you, you hadn't eaten anything else all day and he was apparently happy to see you eat half a fish as your meal. YANBU

In his defence he didn't moan about it or ask again for some, I think he didn't realise it was such a small fish, he did say 'no, no I've got this you eat it all' but I still felt mean.

Edited

I'm doing one meal a day
It suits me very well
I usually do much better with my meal choices but he made me want chippy too

not unreasonable. DH and I normally share food so I just make it clear if it won't happen so he can choose accordingly, sounds like you did that and gave a clear option of getting a larger fish. You shouldn't miss out due to his failure to pay attention.
