He's 19 and had been unemployed 6 months. He doesn't contribute financially and I've covered all his expenses.
I told him he had to apply for UC as I just can't afford it anymore and they will help him find a job (he had been looking!)
His first statement and payment is in July
Things are tight right now and the lady explained about an advance, he says he doesn't want to take it as it complicates things (he suffers from anxiety )
But WIBU to ask him to apply for the advance and instead of him paying me a small amount from his UC to help.with food etc, the advance repayments to UC would cover that until he's repayed it all?
