My ex and I have 2 children. They are with me 60% time. I am taking them on 2 overseas holidays this year and one UK break, so they are not missing out on holidays at all. I’m in the process of booking a short break with my OH. It’s a long weekend on a weekend when the kids are with their Dad but he’ll need to have them 2 extra nights. I’m feeling really guilty about this, like I shouldn’t be going away without them. My OH works away for long periods so we are very limited as to when we can get away together. I suspect my ex will do all he can to make me feel bad for this. AIBU to want to go on this trip and leave my kids with their father for 2 extra nights?
