To ask what there is to do between Paris and Calais for a few hours?

Sorry for the shameless traffic wanting post. Leaving DLP tomorrow and driving back to England via the tunnel, but will have maybe 2-3 hours to kill on the way. Any suggestions? I kind of want to go to a WW1 graveyard but I’m not sure how entertained the teenage DC will be by that. Doesn’t have to be anything too exciting, if it’s a nice village or town to stop for lunch and have a wander that will do! I don’t know that part of France at all so any suggestions welcome.

Thank you, it does look lovely there. I will put it to the teenagers in the morning.

Amiens is gorgeous (cathedral and old town).

@mummaofthreeboys just googled it and it does look lovely there. And it’s got a WW1 graveyard and museum <rubs hands together in nerdy fashion>

Citie Europe at Calais. Loads of shops, restaurants etc in one huge shopping center. Massive Carrefor as well so you can stock up 😉

edit. Apologies, just seen you wanted a bit more culture. If you decide on a last minute shop though this is the place.

@HighOnMaiden that’s definitely what the kids would rather do but my bank balance couldn’t cope I don’t think 🤣. We did a fair bit of shopping yesterday in Orleans so that box has been ticked.
