Germoloids and Germolene are basically the same right?

Got scratched by my bunny. Washed the wound and slathered in what I thought was Germolene. Nope, pile cream

The outer tubes are very similar - am I a dimwit for assuming the contents are similar too?

Pile cream has different ingredients

Germaloids probably has a local anaesthetic and possibly a steroid as well, but it won't have done it any harm.
