Parent in hospital. Worried.

Probably worried about nothing. One of my parents is in hospital in a lot of pain. They think it's a kidney stone but not sure. Waiting for a scan. I'm worried it's going to be something more sinister (or they're going to find a kidney stone and something additional!). My anxiety is taking over. Usually very well, never been in hospital before. Very concerned. Any words of wisdom to manage my anxiety? In a bit of a flap.

It is an anxious time, but what everyone will tell you is that they are in the right place. Kidney stones are extremely painful, but do tend to pass quickly once they know that’s what it is.

I'm so worried because we have a significant family history of leukaemia in adults and for some reason this is where my mind has gone. I am usually very level headed but not today!
