To ask when you taught your dc your phone number?.

Sort of inspired by a other thread, do your dc know your phone number? Or any others (dp, grandparents etc). And how old were they when you made them learn?

Ditto address?

We taught ours so if they ever got lost or separated they could give our details. Probably around 5 or 6.

At 4, 4 and a little bit. We were going to Disney and thought was import if gets lost ( had it written too on a wristband but didn’t hurt to teach as well)

We teach the Beavers (6-8 years old) phone numbers, we teach it again in Cubs (8-10 years old). It is the same number of digits for a mobile number as it is for an area code and a landline number. Three kids with additional needs here and they can all still recite back my mobile number.

We didnt but one day when he was about 6 or 7 he told me it

I taught DS 4 our address. He still struggles with telephone numbers but most of my nephews were the opposite and were reciting numbers by 3 and addresses by 6
