My DP and I claim UC. I’m currently unable to work and have put in a claim for LCWRA at the end of last year, still haven’t heard anything back, I’m also in the process of applying for pip.
I’m aware the AET threshold has recently increased for singles and couples. What I’m wanting to know is whether they take the AET calculation from your gross pay (before reductions) or afterwards e.g your take home pay?
DP pays a decent amount into his pension and a cycle to work scheme too. So I’m hoping they calculate it before those things are taken off? If that makes sense.
If anyone knows, I’d be most grateful as getting rather worried.
