Partner takes bad moods out on me

Every time by DH is in a bad mood, he always takes it out on me. I get called names, told everything is my fault and get told he doesn't love me anymore. When things are good it's great but I hate when he's like this, can go on for days, even weeks! Our DD has additional needs and needs to attend the learning centre at our local school after the summer, which he is struggling to come to terms with. He is a great dad to her, but it is mentally draining on me dealing with his mood swings, I'm in the same position but I don't take my feelings out on anyone.

That's not acceptable OP and he's being abusive. Would you be able to have a calm discussion with him when things are in a 'good' phase to tell him how you feel? Sounds like he'd benefit from some counselling to learn how to deal with his feelings.

I try to calmly tell him the way he reacts to things isn't normal or healthy and he would benefit from help, but he doesn't listen to me, feel like I'm fighting a losing battle
