Where have all the low rise jeans gone?

I trudged round the shops today looking for a pair of low rise jeans. I looked everywhere, asked shops assistants only to be told they are not in fashion at the moment. There were a couple of pairs labelled low rise, but they definitely weren’t, mid rise at best.

My jeans are all 10-15 years old and I need new ones. I’ve got long legs and a short body so need the low rise to balance me out! Mid and high rise just make me feel frumpy and like I’m being smothered.

Help! Any fashionistas who know where you can get what suits rather than whats on trend? Or anyone in the fashion industry able to explain this frustrating trend?! Will it be long until low rise is back in?

I have the same problem, cannot wear high waisted as I have a short torso and they rub my ribs!

Next have some low/mid rise jeans. I have a pair of their boot cuts and they’re great jeans for the price. Never found anything as trusty as my old Gap long n leans, though.

This is actually why I shop on Shein, they have huge range of everything in every style. High Street only has what’s “in fashion” but that hardly ever coincides with what I actually like!

I hate high waisted too, it always feels like it’s digging into my stomach and slicing me in half. I have to undo the top button when I sit down which makes me looks like a weirdo at work/restaurants always doing and undoing the top button up!
