Morning after pill

I'm sorry to post here but I am quite stressed and get anxious about my health.

For a bit of background, I had an abortion a few years ago and it was quite traumatic and I'm scared of getting pregnant again.

I took the morning after pill on the 13th (condom broke) and had some bleeding on the 23rd - 26th. My period was due today but no sign, however I understand that the MAP can delay your period. I've had some pale yellow discharge but nothing else.

It says to take a pregnancy test 3 weeks after taking the pill which will be Monday. I'm so anxious I can't wait another few days. Would it be terribly innaccurate if I tested before Monday?

Do it today. I had a split condom, MAP taken after and still got pregnant, it happens. But also very likely that the MAP has just messed up your period slightly, so try not to panic too much. Hoping you get the result you want

I had a similar situ with a broken condom a few years back. MAP worked perfectly but my period was a few days late. Fingers crossed you’ll be absolutely fine. Try your hardest not to worry about it. If you test today and it’s neg but your period still doesn’t arrive in a week test again xx

Test today, and every day until Monday. It’s not going to change things and will make you feel more in control knowing. The 3 weeks is the limit of when you should know by not a having to wait.

Thanks all!! I forgot to add that I took a double dose of levonorgestrel due to my weight, not sure if that makes a difference. I'm so so worried

I would take a test today and to reassure yourself would take one next week too. When I’ve taken the morning after pill my period has usually been a bit late which stresses me out and then delays the period even more!

Do you think theres a chance it could be negative today as it's still "early" and then positive next week? I'm not sure why I'm even asking this as nobody could know

Potentially yes but if it will help reassure you for a little bit today then it might be worth the test.

Did the test about an hour or so ago, came back negative x
