DH shrug me off

DH only nice to me when he did sth wrong

when I am in good mood, showing bit affection. He gave me such an attitude as of I bother him, rather than appreciate. He was busy with playing games on the phone. It’s like his default position at home. An eye sore for me.

i m a new mum of a two month old. Having a good mood for a day is very rare and he seemed just have to tarnished it and so insensitive with it.

the longer we together, the more he pays no effort on daily basis. But he would make effort only on big matter like he values the important days - anniversary , v’day . He cares more big deals like security of the house, fixing things

just drive me crazy becoz in my previous relationship is always very loving on daily basis (but contrary got cheated)

this relationship is like daily basis no interaction . I just want a cuddle and he behaved as in asking too much to take his eyes off the phone.

i am upset :(

Sorry. I voted YABU by mistake. It’s ok to want some affection from your DP.

Have you found your previous threads about this shit man helpful?
If he refuses to enhance your life, make it fun, strive to parent your kids and be a functional, feminist at bare minimum- consider what’s the point of him?

Hope you're less upset today. In future, focus solely on your happiness and your kids.

@FineWordsButterNoParsnips thank you for your kind words. I feel better today purely because newborn didn't wake me up overnight. I feel better emotionally today. haven't talked to DH yet as he is at work. feel what an eye sore at home not being treated well and had to fulfil a wife responsibility including dealing with MIL + the fam.
