I wouldn't expect to inherit anything when I have a surviving parent. And if this was the plan I think you're incredibly cheeky to ask for "your share" you don't have a share. Your surviving parent was being very generous including you.

Sorry but I think it is entirely up to living parent what they want to do with the money. I would assume that if you don’t want a stake in the holiday home, you don’t get the money.

I guess ultimately you'll get your share when your remaining parent dies - this is usually how inheritance works.
