Can you take too many vitamins?!

I try and be healthy, take some vitamins like c, d, b, zinc but I’m still catching plenty of viruses - could I be taking too many vitamins? Also pretty stressed which I know won’t be helping.

You're suggesting that taking a regular supplement of vitamins may have somehow predisposed to you to viral infection?

Are you normally this anxious about health? Perhaps addressing this may be a better way of going about things.

No, you’re just a normal human being who sounds a bit overly anxious and stressed which will be making you run down and prone to getting ill

If theyre fat soluble yes, water-soluble unlikely.

MissConductUS · 29/05/2024 20:17

The water-soluble ones, you'll just pee out any excess. You can take too much of the fat-soluble ones like vitamin D.

Well yes, you can potentially take a combination of vitamins that can have an adverse affect, but if you are taking basically a multivitamin, it will either do you some good, or just give you expensive urine. It won’t make you susceptible to viruses.
