What is this on my knuckle?

I've got this lump on my right thumb knuckle. I'm right handed. Sometimes it randomly flares up and hurts. It's not a bump on my bone because if I move the skin, the bump moves with it. Anyone had this before? Is it normal?
I don't work with my hands and I'm 25.

I have had similar appear on my next finger along on the knuckle. I first noticed it about three weeks ago, thought I had just knocked it or had been bitten.

It feels a little rough so I've been using loads of hand cream for the last few days but it still feels rough.

I've made a gp appointment for three weeks time, hoping it goes by then.

I’d agree that is a wart.
