Ainu to put this suit in my backpack?

I’m going away at the weekend to a wedding abroad. 2 hour flight away with only hand luggage. I’ve bought a suit (link below) and was planning to roll it up and put it in my backpack with my other clothes. Boyfriend says it will look awful if I do this and my only choice is to wear it on the plane.

Who’s right??

Wear it on the plane?! What if you spill? It won’t be fresh and nice for the wedding… what a bizarre suggestion. Roll as you suggested and iron it if you need to 😂

Are you staying in a hotel with laundry facilities? It’s 50% poleyester so I’m 99% sure it would be fine if rolled carefully but it might be worth having a contingency plan for steaming or pressing.

It'll be fine. Once you arrive, hang in the bathroom so it gets steam to it whilst showering.

Thank you guys, this is what I wanted to hear! Checked the fabric and seems it’s ironable, checked the place we’re staying and they have an iron. In the backpack it goes.

Absolutely this, on a hanger in the bathroom and turn the shower on

I'd roll the trousers and wear the jacket, but take it off in the plane. If you can't hang the jacket up on a hanger, there are often little hooks on the back of the seat infront- depending on the airlines.
