Posting here for traffic. Wondered if anyone didn’t mind walking me through;
Once have landed at Belfast International- can you walk me through exactly where to pick up the red bus? And want to see the Titanic museum. What other 2 or 3 stops to hop off at? And where to get lunch?
Very grateful for any advice.
Thank you!

You’ll need to get the bus to the City Centre from International to enable you to get one of the city sightseeing buses (I assume this is what you mean by red bus?)
Titanic museum is very good and will take up a good bit of your time. Crumlin Road Gaol is good but I don’t think you’d have time to do both. If I recall correctly, the sightseeing bus goes into the Stormont Estate so you’ll get to see Parliament Buidlings and hear the history of it which is interesting, esp in regards to the war (I think so anyway!)
Food wise, it will depend what you’re after. Family friendly? Something a bit fancier?

It will take you at least an hour to get from the international airport to the city centre on a bus. Then get onto the sight seeing tours will take maybe another 20 minutes. Personally I’d hop off at the titanic and then back on into the city centre and go for lunch somewhere. Check out trip advisor to see what restaurants you like first.

Does your 5hr inc commute to and from international airport?
Crown liquor saloon is well worth a visit, it does food too I think.
You’ll need a few hours for Titanic.

Sunnydayz1234 · 22/05/2024 21:38

Thank you! Yes the tourist bus 👍
That’s good advice about the time for Titanic museum and that bus goes through Stormont Estate…
Lunch wise- Italian but one person going is vegan so to cater for them too.
Once in the city centre, where do I go to pick up the red bus?
Trying to get all the steps right to maximise time- thanks!

Just at City Hall, but if I recall correctly the airport bus stops at Europa so you’ll have to walk round - it won’t take you that long though maybe 10 minutes maximum?

Belfastmumof2 · 22/05/2024 21:47

The chubby cherub is a gorgeous italian right beside city hall and has a great vegan menu!

Belfastmumof2 · 22/05/2024 21:48

Note there’s 2. You want the central one!

Hobnobswantshernameback · 22/05/2024 21:51

Bus to the city centre is directly outside the exit from the airport building and I'll take you to the europa centre.
10 minute walk to city hall to pick up the tour bus.
Its honestly really easy and the tour is a fab way to travel and see the city

Might be worth booking the Titanic museum. You have a time slot to go in, there can be limited spaces if there's a cruise ship or 2 in port.

Sunnydayz1234 · 23/05/2024 12:06

Thank so much all. So, to maximise time;
Once landed> get bus to city centre from directly outside airport building> get out at Europa centre-ie Europa Hotel?> walk round to city hall for red bus> do tour and get out at Titanic museum ( try to book first) then red bus back to city centre??( is that how we get there) > Chubby Cherubs near city hall> nice lunch> bus back to airport from city hall?
Have I missed anything 😅
Also, any additional tips like bus numbers or anything else much appreciated.
Just trying to do it seamlessly and maximise time👌
Also if there is another quick stop on red bus you would recommend then pls let me know. Realise that means we would have to whizz round the titanic museum….
