Would you go back to the salon or aibu?

This was on the more expensive side for a balayage in my opinion and there are quite a few streaky patches and bands on my hair.
Ive had balayage done loads of times and its never looked like this at the end. I’ve never gone back to a salon to complain but I’m pretty gutted that this is what my hair looks like after spending £260.
Is this acceptable or would you go back?

No I would go back. I had a similar problem not long ago (equally expensive!) and I was cringing the whole time but it was worth getting it fixed x

I would definitely not be happy at paying £260 for that result. I'd be going back.

Funkyslippers · 22/05/2024 20:16

Definitely go back. If they're a good salon they won't mind putting it right

albertoross · 22/05/2024 20:18

YOU SPENT £260????

Cityandmakeup · 22/05/2024 20:18

Any decent salon would fix

Coffeerum · 22/05/2024 20:19

Okay I’m glad I’m not being overly particular. It was quite hard to see it when I left because it was styled in big waves but as it’s dropped and straightened out it’s really apparent. It makes my hair look like it’s got loads of broken snapped layers because it’s really bright and the dark for the bottom half.
The top looks equally bad which is the worst thing because it’s going to grow out so badly. Not sure what could even be done with that now it’s been bleached!

Yep you need to go back. Having to complain at hairdressers is up there with the most awkward things ever though. I feel for you

I know! But it’s zone 2 London and seems within the general ball park of what most supposedly decent salons charge.

I pay £250 in Glasgow so this doesn't shock me at all for London.
