To find friend really annoying

My friend disputes everything I say to the point she gets nasty then phones the next day to tell me I was right after all. The latest ridiculous argument is she says I cannot get internet in my mobile if I don't have broadband in my house! She still has a Nokia with no camera or internet and knows nothing about computers but got quite nasty and completely ruined the night out yet again. She called this morning to tell me that I am right and she is wrong but only after discussing with her husband!

Is it worth it?

"look I appreciate you calling me to acknowledge you were wrong, but this isn't the first time you've incorrectly challenged me on something. I'm getting a bit sick of it Barbara and think we should cool our friendship a bit"

In what way is a friend? Bin her. Energy vampire.

Life's too short for friends you find really annoying.

Does she have good qualities that balance this out?

Being a friend shouldn't be a charitable act.

Just tell her it’s annoying, perhaps she doesn’t realise how contrary she is and how wearing it is.

Bit of a bleedin' obvious question, but why do you even bother with her?

You know what's coming, you know she'll ruin the night out. Leave her to argue with other people.

You have a you problem. You are the one choosing to maintain a relationship with this insufferable bore. Ditch her because she is very clearly not a friend.

I've known her for years and she's gradually become more irritating. At first it was just little things but now it's unbearable. Thanks for the feedback because it's good to know I am not overreacting.
