I am trying to do up my council house as a single mum of 3 young children. I have got some amazing cheap (& even free) things from Facebook market place and I have got some great bits from charity shops. But does anyone have any thrifty tips?

I am passionate about making a beautiful home for my kids to grow up in with limited funds & tbh am really enjoying it, it’s giving me a purpose. (Besides the children!)
Someone is offering free tiles on fb and my toilet could definitely benefit from them, I’m trying to be more confident with trying things myself (like tiling) would love any tips/advice? 🙏
