Am I worrying unnecessarily?

Bought some tulips from the supermarket this morning filled a vase full of water, put the flowers into it. Immediately saw there was too much water in the vase so I poured some out into the kitchen sink.

DH asked if I could bring through a glass of water so I just filled up one of the empty glasses in the sink that he’d been using before for water and gave it to him.

Problem is, I came to do the rest of the washing up just now and noticed some cloudy water in another of the glasses in the sink. I think some of the water that I tipped out from the vase might have splashed into the glasses, including the one I gave to DH. I wouldn’t worry if it was any other flower but heard tulips are toxic so a bit worried about it the more I’ve thought about it?

AIBU to worry? I’m pregnant and dealing with prenatal anxiety at the moment anyway so know it might not be too rational.

He'll be fine!

Thank you. I think logically I know this but seeing it written down helps me to realise I’m being silly. I do employ strategies to stop me from worrying but some days I find it harder than others.x

Completely understand. If really worried, 111 if he shows signs of going downhill but highly doubtful.

Lots of scare stories on the internet.

Sure he’ll be fine but I know what you mean. I think cats have to avoid tulips?

Yeah that’s right. Cats, and humans (who knew!)
