I just read Rebel Wilsons new autobiography, and I also read the furore surrounding her and Sacha baron Cohen.
She has a chapter in the book called "Sacha BC and other assholes. "
He has since got into a defamation war with her about this, and parts of her book are now blacked out in the UK.
I was just wondering how her and her advisors ever thought it was a good idea to print that in the book? There are so many defamation laws.
When Andrew Morton wrote the book about Diana, he couldn't write that Charles was having an affair with camilla, as everyone- editors , publishers would have immediately been sued.
He had to write that Charle's friendship with camilla continued after he married Diana. And Diana was upset about Charles close friendship eith Camilla etc etc.
I'm not saying whether or not sbc was a massive asshole to rebel Wilson. My point is I was surprised they let her put in print in the first place. There are so many defamation laws.
If you buy her book , her book now has a lot of the chapter about him completely blacked out by the publisher.
