To want a smart speaker system which actually works?

Not particularly an AIBU but not sure where else this should go!
I have a SONOS system, it's probably about 10 years old now.
When it works it's brilliant but it randomly breaks a lot or says it has to stop for an update.
Worse, the integration with Audible, BBC Sounds etc is actually getting worse all the time. I have hundreds of audiobooks and there's no search function.

If I'd known you couldn't just cast anything to it from a mobile I'd never have bought it in the first place.

I've kept going as it's very expensive to replace the whole thing but I'm at that point now.

What new system should I look at which just works and integrates smoothly with android phones/Spotify/audible/BBC Sounds and also an LG smart TV?

I actually have a Sonos soundbar in the LR with Sonos one in the Kitchen and bedroom. For outdoors I have 2xUltimate Ears Megaboom

Forgot to add that I have an LG smart tv, but use Amazon music which I added to my Sonos account. I tend to listen to audio books using air pod pro.
