Does anyone else have naturally quite big tonsils?

Do you find you catch more colds and things? Have you found a way to naturally reduce the tonsil size? I hadn’t really thought about it before but I said to a nurse recently they are naturally quite big and she said aww your poor thing, which made me realise others probably have smaller tonsils!

Apparently I have tiny tonsils (a dr once told me, I've never compared them to anyone else's) and I catch as many colds as the next person.

Mine are huge and I catch one cold a year. Pineapple juice keeps infections at bay x

Both my daughters do.
They've had to have investigations and 1 was about to have them removed but they decided not to which I was annoyed about when in the same breath they are saying if she gets tonsillitis again she's at risk of her airway being closed off

I wouldn't say they get colds more than any other child.
We've been told the tonsils stay the same size but the throat grows.

Both my son and DH seem to have massive tonsils. My DH rarely gets ill. My son is always ill like me (I have normal sized tonsils).

Huge ones, but I don't get sick that often- when I do get tonsillitis though it's horrendous. Figure they're doing their job so leave them there.
