The front of my house overlooks their garden. My window is open which means I can hear them more but AIBU that I can still hear them being loud at this time of night? I'm going to go over tomorrow to speak to them.

People don't realise how noise travels in the night or maybe they don't care.
I'd definitely have a word tomorrow, I detest selfish neighbours we had one for six years a complete nightmare of a woman.good luck

I'd go and have a word tomorrow, but of course when alcohol is on board people do tend to lose their inhibitions and become louder than normal, so I'd probably suggest closing your window for the time being.

At the moment your poll is 55% swayed towards Yabu but I really don’t think you are. Often, people who live in blissful ignorance of neighbour noise think those suffering with it Abu. You aren’t.

Or the ybu are noisy buggers and trot out the excuses, our own idiot neighbour (now gone tf). reason for blaring music was because she was cleaning.always an excuse.

If it’s a one off then I wouldn’t mind, it’s annoying but it’s their home and should be allowed to let off some steam occasionally.

If it’s a weekly thing then I wouldn’t be happy.
