To ghost after sex?

A guy I’ve known a while and I have recently started speaking (both 30’s) a lot over WhatsApp after about 3 weeks of messaging regularly every day we met up and ended up sleeping together I found it fine just a bit awkward this was 3 days ago and since then it’s become painfully awkward. He messaged after saying he had a really nice time I was a little distant/slower with my replies as I have a fear of rejection and since then it’s just felt very different. He’d normally double message and the conversation would flow where as now he doesn’t double message but could this be because my responses are less?

If you’re not responding as normal then he will also back off as he will no doubt worry you’re regretting it.
He’s not ghosting you if he’s still replying. Hes just not chasing you if you’re not responding as much.

Where would you like for things to go with him ?

Had you met in person before this or was it all online?

First time can be awkward for lots of reasons. If you’re not feeling it at all then maybe it’s kinder to just say so, but I’d be inclined to meet up again in person - maybe without the sex - and see how things feel. Messages only go so far.
