New NDN have put in for planning for an extension. Fair enough. Out the back under permitted development. They have just put in for planning for a hip to gable extension and a dormer. The hip to gable, fine. Doesn't affect anyone else apart from ruing the side elevation. The dormer will have a huge effect on us, our bedroom is in our loft conversion (we are mid terrace, simple conversion), and massively block our light so I'm going to object to the dormer.
The planning documents mention removal of the chimney stack. We share a chimney stack, so does that mean they'll remove the whole thing or remove their 'half'. How does that work?
IABU - just let them get on with it
IANBU - to want to maintain right to light to my bedroom
