Anyone else trying to move on and let someone go from their life?

When you realise you're the only one who reaches out first. They don't wish you a happy birthday, they don't help you out in the same way you'd help them.
They'll agree to plans with you, but never initiate.
You're not a priority for them even if you used to be, they just do not care.
Is anyone else in this situation?
You find yourself making excuses, they're just busy, they're ill, they've had a lot on, they don't mean to, but deep down you know it's on purpose and they don't care.
I think we should only choose people who choose us. The moment you realise you need to stop chasing them, waiting for the day you're finally indifferent towards them, even though you fear it will never come.

Most of the friends I had were like this. I gave up having friends in the end.
