Posting here for traffic as I never really get responses anywhere else. I work in an office not the best pay work full time have Nvq 2 and 3 in business. I have been job hunting and there is nothing round me they all seems to be around 50 mins away all the ones I want as they are in big city's. I would love to work from home and am thinking I don't mind paying for a course to train up In something where I could do a job where I would get more money and could work remotely. What career do you have where you can work from home and are on decent pay I'm only thinking of around £30 to £35K please help feel like I'm stuck in a rut at the minute with my job hunts I'm losing the will to live.

Sounds like Project Management would be a good fit. Plenty of online certifications like Prince2 etc you can do. Most of the PMs at my work wfh.

I'm a finance manager and work 95% from home (go in for meetings when needed)

You could start with AAT which is entry level. I left school with rubbish grades and trained up from AAT then further but sticking with AAT you could make about £40k ish easily.

I didnt find it too rough going. I did it while working in a finance department and went to college in the evening (although now can probably do it mostly online now I imagine)

You don't need to be a wiz at maths to work in the finance field. Just good base knowledge and learning.

An idea for you anyway

You need some qualifications, someone suggested Project Management, you could look at Agile Methodology, that is pretty easy to get into, there are tons of online resource but you will need to pay for exams and qualifications that mean anything. Agile has multiple different roles, you have scrum, you have delivery Management for example. Take a look and do some reading see if it'd be a good fit
