Recurring thrush - tried everything

I’ve been having a recurring thrush for years. On and off. Went through an intense fluconazole treatment which helped for a bit but then the thrush came back. Recently after getting a UTI which was treated with antibiotics my thrush came back and it’s very intense. On top of it I feel very uncomfortable down there which has intensified ever-since I had UTI.

i tried all the basics: cotton underwear, no soap, organic cotton sanitary products etc.

I even tried medical grade honey. Still no luck.

Would appreciate some advice on what else I can try. I wonder if the root cause is deeper and would love to hear from others who had a similar issue. In the meantime trying to get an appointment with the GP.

I totally understand how frustrating and exhausting recurring thrush can be, especially when it keeps coming back after antibiotics or even after proper treatment. You’re already doing so many of the right things — avoiding harsh soaps, using cotton underwear, and staying mindful of hygiene. Sometimes, though, persistent thrush can be linked to gut imbalance, high sugar intake, or even hormonal fluctuations, so it might be worth getting a vaginal swab and possibly checking for other underlying issues with your GP (like blood sugar or hormone levels).

Personally, I’ve had a very similar situation, and what really helped me was Diflucan (Fluconazole). I took one 150 mg capsule as directed, and then repeated the dose a few days later under my doctor’s advice. It worked incredibly well — the itching and discomfort eased within a day, and the infection finally cleared completely. It’s really important to use only high-quality Fluconazole, as not all versions are equally effective. I’ve been ordering mine from this reliable online pharmacy 👉 healway.co.uk/diflucan — they always deliver quickly, and I trust the quality 100%. It might be helpful to someone dealing with the same issue.
