Husband has told 8 year old that he can have eyebrow slits the same as football idol. I think its too young

I don't usually get two het up about things like that especially considering the eyebrows grow back. Can you explain a little more why you think eight is too young for that?

I think it is a harsh look and he's so young. I said he could have it done when he's older to which my husband agreed but without me knowing he told our son he could have it in the summer holidays.
How long would it take to grow back?

It will be in summer holidays. Not sure how long it will take to grow fully back 🤔

Seems like a perfect time to do it. An older child would look like a thug.

I'd remind your dh that if he does go ahead then to expect people to project their prejudices on an 8 yr old. People might view your kid as a trashy thug like something out of the TV show Shameless. If your dh is ok with this then he should go ahead & not complain about it afterwards.

I wouldn't love it but it's just an extension of them wanting their hair like footballers, and if they're football mad and all their football mates are doing it, I would give the green light for the holidays
