Used to use baby wipes to remove make up and a certain brand would leave my face red raw and burnt. I could tolerate a different brand no problem.

Some would say they aren’t designed for faces, but surely a new born bottom is more delicate than my weathered chops! So when I had my first DC I never used that brand and used cotton wool at home and would only use wet wipes if out and unavoidable.

I used some make up remover wipes today and the burning sensation started abd low and behold I looked in the mirror and my face was red raw! Does anyone else have skin that reacts like this? More to the point - what the he’ll is in these wipes that makes my face face burn?

Huggies wipes scorched my fingertips all those years ago. Johnsons baby wipes (pink packet?) were fine.

No idea what was in them.

I was the opposite. Huggies were fine but the other ones burnt my epidermis off. Strange how it affects different people in different ways
