I just got over a bug that lasted over a week (sore throat, sweating, headache and aches). Now I have a painful lump on my roof of my mouth which is throbbing and I’m finding it hard to eat or drink anything. Anyone had similar? I’m in so much pain going to wait till tomorrow and see what I can do but I have to go work tomorrow I cannot miss another day.

Sorry to hear that. It might be a bacterial infection, such as an abscess or an ulcer that’s now infected. If it’s really painful you may need antibiotics. Perhaps ask a pharmacist first to see what they think.

If it is in your mouth, go to the dentist.

It could be something infected or it could be a gland perhaps (my anatomy knowledge isn't strong).

Are you using painkillers and gargling with TCP or salt water?
