What are your neighbours doing?

I enjoyed a morning tea and my breakfast in the garden this morning, then came the stench of neighbours weed. Neighbour saw I was sat peacefully in the garden when he decided to spit out of his upstairs window. Half hour later he blasts his music. I've just slammed the door and come in. Would social services be interested in him smoking weed with the kids inside the house at the same time? Bastards.

If you think social services need to be involved for the children’s welfare because they are incapable parents, call social services for that reason - not as some tit for tat revenge because your neighbours played their music too loudly.

The children seem happy. Not nice having stoned parents though that are often at each others throats.

I don't care if people smoke weed, our previous neighbours did. It used to waft I'm to my kitchen and really annoy me. The people who lived there before also smoked weed, but they would always go down the bottom of our very long gardens, so it wasn't a problem. If they want to smoke, fine, but I do think people should be mindful and do it away from other people. We've moved no, no direct neighbours as such, which I flipping love.

OP that would drive me nuts. I'd have to move. I'm lucky my neighbouring houses are ok, low level barking and kids out at most hours shouting and bouncing on a trampoline (it actually sounds like they are only allowed back in at mealtime)

I am definitely selling up this year, neighbours are not for me anymore.

But yes if they are smoking weed in the house I would report them.

I have neighbours who smoke weed , some who smoke tobacco, some vape, some drink alcohol.

I don't do any if those things (any more) but I don't see how any of that affects their parenting necessarily. A lot of variables as to when where how it's done and with whom etc that would make it inappropriate or harmful to the kids.

If you call Children s Services on your neighbours because you don't like it disapprove of them then that's malicious and taking stretched services away from children who may need it desperately
