Parents parked up all day outside school

My friend moved to a temp rental as her new house isn't ready and buyers wanted to move in asap.

It's opposite a high school with a layby that holds about 6 cars. She has noticed that 4 of these cars do not move throughout the school day with a parent in each one. Probably doing WFH (or in this case WFC - C being car). If not WFC - WTAF are they doing? Both groups are sad according to myself and friend.

Isn't it a bit more sad to care about what they're doing?

Maybe they don't have anywhere else quiet to work, maybe their kids have issues and are regularly called into school, maybe it's none of your business.
