Best Greek Island with a 4 year old?

Hi we are looking for a new Greek Island to explore with our 4 yr old ANY recommends appreciated.

• nice beaches, ( no high rises ) some historic ruins/ culture , bit of nightlife / nice beach tavernas and cocktail bars.

We went to Skiathos as a couple pre baby, and loved it but would like similar but with a bit more to do and bit of history

• Zakynthos - is this really just for 18-30's or worth seeing? if so which part best to stay please?

• Corfu - Where to stay? Looking at Messongi area?

Any recommendations much appreciated

I would be careful where you pick in Corfu as not all beaches are sandy. I think it's the same in lots of Greek Islands though.

For great beaches with kids Mallorca and Menorca are better. But still love the Greek Islands at the end if the day it just needs to be a beach doesn't it?

We went to Kos when our oldest was almost 4 and it was great stayed at Akti Beach
