Does anyone know how far apart the chicken pox vaccine doses should be?!

Dd supposed to have the second chicken pox vaccine this week. It is only five weeks after her first vaccine. I’ve read various things online and some say it should be a minimum three months apart between the two doses? Boots very unhelpful and say they don’t know!

Mine had theirs 4 weeks apart. Should Boots be vaccinating people if they don’t know?!?

The green book says the doses should be given between four and eight weeks apart.

Boots website says 'at least 6 weeks later ' for 2nd dose. You'd think they could Google it!

I was told 4 weeks. But Covid happened between her first and second so ended up being much longer.

Lots of websites like CDC say if under four years it should have a three month gap?

I had my DD vaccinated at boots, and the pharmacist originally booked the 2nd dose in for 4 weeks later. I did change the appointment to 6 weeks later after checking online, but 4 weeks must be approved for the pharmacist to have suggested it.

Dc1's Dr Aunt gave him his. He was around 18 months at the time. 4 to 5 weeks between the doses sounds about right. He was absolutely fine. Definitely not 3 months.

Why is CDC saying 3 months if under 4 then?

Possibly because the US use a different vaccine to the UK?

What did it say on the vaccine insert? That usually has timings.
