DH who uses the phone

Lighthearted debate here….

My DH insists on calling me instead of sending a text for simple messages. Things like “I’m on my way home,” and “Which item should I buy?” all result in a phone call instead of a text.

i swear he can not leave the house without calling me at least once.

Am I being unreasonable that he could just text me instead?

If he is standing in a shop wondering what to buy and he sent you a message, it’s unlikely you would always see it straight away. How long do you think he should wait for you to reply in that case?

I think calling you to say he’s on his way home is nice as well.

Surely it’s not that much of an imposition to speak to your own spouse?

I call if I need a quick answer to a question.

My husband takes forever to text and gets distracted so calling is easier for him. I do like a call though it feels nicer. Bonded
