Chicken pox vaccine and illness

I feel like I already know it’s the wrong thing to do but I’m just going into panic mode and want to check I am doing the right thing.

Toddler is booked in for first chicken pox vaccine tomorrow- he’s come down poorly yesterday with a slight fever, a bit grumpy and a slight rash. Likely hand foot and mouth. Would you go ahead or rearrange? Must add he’s pretty happy overall, a bit out of sorts but playing currently and eating & drinking.

Ring the surgery tomorrow morning and ask them. They'll probably tell you to reschedule.

Hope he feels better soon.

I would rearrange.

I forgot to add, I think the advice is they shouldn't have a fever at the time of having the jab.

Thank you- that was my thoughts! Will call tomorrow

Rearrange, they can’t have it with a fever I don’t think.
