To not understand how people make so much money on Vinted

I see posts in Facebook groups where people have pending balances of £100’s. I can barely sell anything for the price I ask for even new with tags stuff. List it as £1 it soon all goes but obviously you don’t make much doing that.

I’ve made over £500 in the past six months on vinted. Sold clothes of mine, my husbands and the kids. I take lots of photos and make sure the clothes are ironed, price them similar or a little cheaper than similar items that are for sale.

No idea. But I am about to give it a try 😊

I’ve made over £1500 in the last year

I price to sell, and get rid of loads that DD has outgrown every few months. Plus selling baby items (carrier got rid of for £130 etc.)

I guess it depends what the value of the stuff that you're selling was when it was new doesn't it?
I've made a few hundred quid but the average price I've sold something for has been about £10. Mostly kids stuff, lots of kids and adults coats, bundles of toys etc.
I don't bother listing anything less than £5 as I'd rather take it to the charity shop, but if someone offers £3 for an item I've already bothered to list at £5 then I'll accept it as I just want the stuff gone.
If the low value stuff doesn't sell after a few weeks I remove and take to the charity shop. If it's a higher value I reduce it.
Most things have gone but now I've had another massive clear out I've got boxes more stuff to put on there!

I don’t know I was trying to sell things like Zara etc
