To hate my side profile/Hair

I saw a background picture of myself yesterday and god I hate my side profile.!
I should have had braces and hardly have a chin but to make matters worse the hair on the side of my head doesn't grow! It's been years, I've had blood tests.. all normal and back of head hair grows normally. I've been taking biotin for around 6 months and it seems to be making my hair thicker.
I get highlights every 12 weeks (I'm a natural dark blonde and) but she tends to only need to do the roots at the back, hardly any root regrowth at the sides.
I've tried clip in face framing hair extensions but they don't look right, really fake. I'm thinking of getting extensions just at the sides but I have heard they're really bad for your hair?
I can tuck it behind my ears or wear it up but I have a large scar on one side of my face from childhood so prefer to cover it.
Anyone else had a similar issue and fixed it?
Just to had I'm early 40s, I use Luseta Keratin Shampoo and Conditioner and a garnier hair mask once a week. I also use heat protector and blow dry instead of straighteners.

Honestly, your side profile is very pretty to me, your being harsh on yourself. I also don't really see much thinning, and the shade of blonde really suits you ❤️

I really think this is a cutting/styling issue. You had full length hair in the older photo.

It might also be time to default to your natural hair colour if you want it to be as healthy as possible.

I don't think it's a styling issue it has just stopped growing at the sides.
I was just looking through photos and you are right about going natural with the colour. It looked much healthier during lockdown and I think I went more than a year without dying it.
