Lack of towels air b&b

If you were staying at a 200 a night air b&b apartment with wood fire hot tub and they have only left one bath towel and one hand towel. I'm assuming by mistake would you expect them to reimburse you for the 2 bath towels you've had to buy as no one has returned my messages through the site or phone calls and left voice mails?

Did it say towels included in the info?

I'd have expected to take my own towels, I think, if I was expecting either a hot tub or a pool.

I'd expect at least 1 of each towel per guest and never stayed anywhere with less than that. What good is one bath towel are you expected to share?

Depends, lots of places in France I’ve been looking at recently don’t include bedding or towels unless you pay extra.

I would not leave the towel and would take it with me

I didn't expect hot tub towels we brought our own for that. We expected 2 bath towels and 2 hand towels for showering as they were included in the listing. At the moment we are sharing one to shower with ad the others won't be dry tonight from getting wet after the hottub. Speaking from experience they don't try quickly unfortunately

Just check you booked for multiple occupancy.

I definitely booked for 2 people as the host asked for the second person's name on the booking

In all honesty this is the only thing I can complain about here as the place is gorgeous. I'm just pissed off all 3 phone numbers aren't answering now is the air b&b site and she's been so quick to reply before.
I'll just chalk it up to a mistake and enjoy my new towels for home

I’d expect at the very least a bath towel and a hand towel each plus a bath mat towel for coming out he shower (1 for each bathroom if there’s more than one) unless it specifically states towels are not provided.

i would want a hottub towel or robe each but would understand I may have to pay extra for that. Although to be honest iv stayed in loads that provided them for free.

double check you have stated the amount of people staying ad if that’s correct say politely you want more as multiple people are having to share! You realise it must be an oversight

It's a pretty basic expectation isn't it? Especially if it says they are included on the listing.

I'm not expecting hot tub towels but I was expecting bath and hand towels for BOTH me and my husband as they definitely knew it was a 2 person occupancy. They are definitely included in the listing so very much expected.
I am assuming it's an oversight and it happens but I'm annoyed not one of the 3 numbers listed haven't replied since 4pm when I tried to contact them!

Annoying they aren't getting back to you and that they are listed but not provided. I'd just chalk it up to experience and make a comment in the feedback.

We once stayed in an Airbnb where a Continental breakfast was supposed to be provided and wasn't which was irritating. There was also no loo paper at all. Having just walked 20 minutes away from the Tube station and shops I was a bit put out. We did have towels though.

Nothing ever changes at an Airbnb as a result of complaints.

If you had carried on reading yourself you would have seen I replied to a later post by the op too.

leaving a message even though there’s been no response sets up that at least op tried to make contact so if they decide to complain later they can show they did indeed try to sort something out during the stay. Or do you disagree with that too?

Maybe stick to helping the op rather than picking up on others posts eh. Especially considering you haven’t even bothered yourself to reply to the op with any post or advice but have taken the Time to post comments to two other posters with irrelevant comments that help the op’s situation. you having a slow night are you.
