Can anyone recommend a resort holiday that your children with ASD enjoyed?

I have two boys, 11 & 6 who both have ASD. Different needs but both generally happy natured, particularly the little one.

We’re thinking next year is the year we’ll try to go abroad. I’m thinking a nice AI with lots of kids stuff - playgrounds, water play, pools etc. Will want to chill in our room with devices after dinner.

Not intending to use kids club.

Anyone able to recommend anywhere? Would prefer a sub-3 hour flight if possible.

The most important thing is spacious rooms/suites and the ability to have chicken nuggets, pizza, chips, toast, cereal easily. The oldest will become very anxious very fast with no safe food.

All suggestions gratefully received.

Not a specific recommendation but maybe a self catering villa or apartment on a resort would work well? There would be options for eating out but your safe breakfast food would be less stressful and you’d have much more space for chilling in the evening. And more privacy.

I’ll take a look @awesomeaardvark

@MatildaTheCat I’m slightly reticent because they tend to be really open plan and the little one runs riot emptying cupboards and drawers but I’ll definitely consider it.
