I work in a hospital. I was called down by a colleague to come to the part of the hospital where I normally work which is fair enough I’ve been there a long time and always happy to help where I can. I got down she had two things that needed doing I did the first request which was admin task the second request was Turning off the water supple in a room. As I had been called down by colleague urgently I hadn’t had a chance to go to the loo. So as we went onto the second task I said I need to go to the toilet before I do anything as by this point I was bursting and wouldn’t have been able to focus on the task in hand. He carried on walking expecting me to just carry on when I’ve clearly expressed my needs so I had to repeat it in a tone as I wasn’t being listened to. He then started saying how rude I was and how what he had asked me to do. Aibu to think it’s quite toxic to expect your colleagues to put you over their basic human needs.
