Hello all so my partner and I have been together for 4 years and in these 4 years I have not really set boundaries I just kind of went along with whatever he wanted. I hate that things are like that in our relationship. Just a little background my partners comes to visit and is here 4-5 days out of the week and I 100% pay all the bills...this whole time. Now I do not have an issue with paying my own bills l, but I will do what I want in my space. I have decided to talk to him and basically tell him that when he is here he has to respect that this is my space. Is this me being unreasonable?
I like when he's here, but when he is everything is so different. Basically I shower when he wants, go to sleep when he wants, wake up when he wants, watches what he wants. If for any reason I have to go out for anything he begins to tell me that I do too much.I'm kinda over things being like that.
